Brexit — whether “hard” or “soft” – will force the EU to redefine
itself, and, to put it briefly, find a new equilibrium between
free-traders and protectionists. The election of Donald Trump as U.S.
president on Nov. 9 will also pose an enormous challenge to the bloc.
